20 Trailblazers Leading The Way In Robot Vacuum Deals

Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

This is your time to own a robotic vacuum. CNET's top-rated models are on sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday, with savings of up to 57%..

The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot that is equipped with smart mapping and app-based no-go zones. Its run time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also self-empties itself and automatically refills its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ from iRobot

The Roomba J7+, iRobot's most advanced robot to date is the Roomba j7+. Its greatest breakthrough is its camera-based obstacle detection system that uses built-in AI to recognize objects like charging cords, shoes and the dreaded pet waste many other robots are unable to avoid (and often plough right through). It's the first robot to send you images of objects that it encounters, so that you can instruct that it is safe to avoid it.

The Combo j7+ is also the best robot to mop we've ever tested, removing spills and dirt with ease while leaving no trace it was there. The iRobot app makes it easy to control. You can schedule cleanings, and also create Keep Out Zones to ensure that it doesn't vacuum in areas you don't want. It's also compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can start and stop it with your voice.

The design is also superior to the other models.  robot vacuum cleaner cheap  has a sleek, top piece that appears like a toy rather than the loud and annoying robot. And the Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System automatically empty, which is great for reducing your cleanup time.

In our tests, the j7+ was quick to remove dust, dirt and pet hair. The rubber brushes that counter-rotate kept the debris in place, rather than scattering it around the floor. It even was able to catch small gravel and sand, which most other robots aren't able to do. It did all this without getting tangled in our pet's hair.

The j7+, though not as sophisticated as the Roomba S9, which costs $1,217+ Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot, and can't clean the stairs, is an option for those who require both mopping and vacuum. It's not expensive, and the iRobot app makes it very user-friendly to use.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner apps. It can take a while to download updates, and at times it's difficult to know whether the update actually working until you see it in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you're looking for a robotic vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean your floors then a hybrid is the best choice. This type of robot typically has a built-in water tank that allows them to vacuum and mop your home simultaneously. These bots also come with various additional features, including smart mapping and small object avoidance and the capability to wash and dry mopping pads. The negative is that they can be pricey at full retail, but during Black Friday and Cyber Monday they are often reduced in price.

Roborock makes some of our most loved robotic vacuums and the Q5+ doesn't disappoint. It's the cheapest model in their auto-empty line. Although it doesn't come with some of the luxurious features (like no-go areas and multi-story memories) but it's an excellent option when you're willing to make some compromises to save a few bucks.

The Q5+ is extremely gentle when it comes down to obstacles like tables and walls. This makes it a great option for homes with a lot of furniture. It's also extremely thorough in cleaning up dust bunnies. This is a place where many robot vacuums that are less expensive do not excel in. The navigation technology in the Q5+ is excellent and has very few misses in corners and along walls.

The Q5+, just like other Roborock products, can be controlled by just a few buttons on the device or through the Roborock App. Through the app, you can start and stop cleaning and schedules, as well as create virtual barriers and no-go zones and modify your home map or change the labels of rooms.

If you select the Q5+ model, it comes with a new auto emptying dock that is designed to make this robot easier to maintain. It requires a screwdriver install, but once it's installed, the process of emptying the bin is easy. It also features a large LCD display that is great to have when you're creating schedules or changing settings. This feature isn't required for most people but it can help effectively keep track of the robot's maintenance schedules.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot vacuum and mop that's impressively smart in both its mopping and vacuuming capabilities. Its design and features are among the best on the market - but it's also pricey.

The base station looks nice and is hidden when it's not in use, and the size is quite compact. But the station's main selling point is how it automates numerous tasks and functions that other robots leave to you. It stores clean and dirty water, it electrolyzes and heats the water (which most other robovacs require you to do) also emptying the dustbin after vacuuming, and keeps your robot clean and charged.

Its vacuuming performance is also impressive. It's the few robovacs I've tried that does very well at picking up debris on bare floors, and it's not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.

The Freo X Ultra is not without faults, particularly when it comes navigation. Its LiDAR sensors and laser sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robovacs. This means it can get stuck or confused in certain corners or rooms in the home. It's also not able to climb stairs as well as other competitors and doesn't come with a dock to create a cleaning zone for carpets with plush padding.

While it doesn't offer the same amount of cleaning options available in its app or as many shortcuts in the app like other robovacs the Freo X Ultra is still a top choice for those looking for an all-around great robot vacuum and mop that's worth the premium price tag.

But if you want to save some money or don't want to think about the limitations of this robotic there are many other great choices available, including a lot of eufy models priced considerably less. The Eufy Qrevo curv, for example, is cheaper and has more features, including stair climbing and a full-function Dock, which provides the ability to provide a more thorough vacuuming experience on bare floors, low-pile carpets and even high-pile carpets.

4. eufy RoboVac G30

Eufy is an Anker company with a long history of creating robot vacuums that offer the perfect combination of features, performance, and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning power for hard and carpeted floors, as well as a mopping function at a reasonable price. It's easy to set up simply by snapping one of the side brushes on, switch it on, and plug it into the charging dock. The app guides you through the steps needed to connect it to Wi-Fi, and the G30 is ready to go. The dock should be placed near an outlet with plenty of space to move.

The G30 is a compact device that measures 2.85 inches in height, so it is able to be placed under most couches and pieces of low-clearance furniture. Its design isn't as ostentatious when compared to rival models. It has a sleek black finish with three physical buttons for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs an area in a spiral fashion over two minutes), Recharge and Spot Cleaner. It is also possible to connect the G30 with Amazon Alexa or Google Home for voice commands to perform unscheduled cleaning.

The primary characteristic that sets the G30 above the rest is the method it cleans. It uses a built-in map to create an image of the non-movable objects that are in its path and then keeps track of what it has already cleaned and the areas it's not able to access. If it requires a recharge, it returns to its base and resumes cleaning from where it left off.

The eufy G30 has a few flaws. The iRobot Roomba 675 is better built, incurs lower recurring costs, charges faster and has a similar battery life while offering better performance on bare floors and carpets with a low pile. It has a bigger dust bin, which doesn't require as much emptying. It also comes with border strips that block it from certain areas. The G30 is cheaper and easier to maintain. Its smaller canister means it doesn't have to be emptied as frequently and it's less difficulty handling bulky products like cereal.
